Happy National Day everyone!
Singapore has done well these 47 years. We are building a better Singapore – stronger identity, more beautiful neighbourhoods, better public transport, more opportunities for all.
But the future will be a very different world. We must think how to Singapore needs to change, and what we must do to get there. Where do we see Singapore in 20 years’ time? What home do we want our children to live in?
I have asked Minister Heng Sweet Keat to lead a group of younger ministers to take a fresh look at what we are doing, and involve Singaporeans in this review. Pls give us your support, and work together for a better future for ourselves and our families. – LHL
